I've had good experience with 'some' of the Dr's but not others. My Main problem's are : You can hardly EVER get an appointment on the day- let alone anyone answer the phone first thing : To book a specific Dr in advance can be between 1/2 week wait : Repeat prescription's have often been messed up leaving me with no medication : The receptionist are often patronising YET some are helpful : They only have 1 Dr on per day: After being with the surgery for nearly 10 years STILL none of the Drs know's me ! - even though I have to have regular check ups and rare illness : I could go on ...... Oh one last moan .. The answer phone greeting /message is WAY to long ,then having to wait for phone to be answered - it costs a LOT of money .. It's a shame, I like Dr Bolton but he seems to be lacking dedication(and possibly?)finance for this surgery.
For the last couple of years I have put up with the receptionist at netherton and today is the final straw. She has a tattoo on her wrist and she has long black hair and shes a complete COW..
The receptionist are good can't fault them but I'm disappointed in the doctors or a particular one getting treated for the wrong illness and having to go to a+e to receive proper care an treatment not only that I find his whole attitude towards patients arrogant and cold as a recent appointment showed me it's not the patients fault that ur not trained in somthing if the receptionist don't ask what ur problem is via ur unacceptable long telephone message witch states they will I'm hardly going to tell them as that's the whole point of confidentiality other wise u might aswell treat people in public in ur reception room and to blame me for not telling them if they didn't ask is unacceptable as I said why should I that's between me an the doctors
I have always had courteous attention by doctors and nurses at this surgery the receptionists are very helpful and obliging. I cannot fault it. J. Sierant
I went in with wounds that needed fresh dressing and the Nurse was absolutely abysmal. Asked me to take my dressings off and give me a sarcastic remark when I explained I can't. Her whole attitude was disgusting.
