Site has good security, partly due to being bounded by a river on one side and wooded hill on the other that join at one end - therefore only access is via a bridge and double steel gates. About a third of the site is hard standing, the rest is chippings that have a surface layer so can get muddy when wet. Vans are stored herringbone style, so access for large vans can be tight on some slots, so a mover makes life much easier- hence just 4 stars. New owner is friendly and amenable
We have been storing our caravan here for about 3 years all was well as the beginning then started having a few problems, 1st was they put the prices up no problem with that but the reason for it was they have built a shop selling caravan stuff, i thought the idea of a shop was to sell and make money with your customers wanting to buy stuff not charge people with a unrelated business, 2nd you are not allowed to open the gates yourself which is no problem then they then started putting signs on the gate we are not in the office so can not see you so come find us not good enough to me when your paying nearly 600 a year, then 3rd over a weekend 18 caravans got broken into ours being one they never rang and told us said they tried emailing which we never got we just happened to go up for something to find it all smashed in, a couple of days later he was quick to send the invoice for the storage we felt he could of delayed this seeing with damage and stolen goods we was now 4000 out of pocket, then the loss adjuster for the caravan insurance contacted us wanted to come look at the damage they are down south only come up this way once every 2 weeks it was coming up near christmas they was shut from 22nd decemeber to 9th of january rang to see if they would come out one day to meet us and loss adjuster he only needed 30 minutes told flat no so had to wait til middle of january to sort out, finally our van is no longer stored there we took it off with 6 weeks left of our term emailed 5 times to ask about money back for remainder funny no reply when spoke to him he never got them or message from the phone call.
