The car park surface has been repaired by the National Trust volunteers.
Not very even, we were okay in a 4wd but smaller cars may find it difficult.
It's a beautiful trail for a good dog walk
Get here early as it is a small car park. It is a great walk down to the reservoir and either to continue down the path to more or as we did, cross over the reservoir and along to a really quiet collection of rocks for you to have some lunch. We stayed there for about an hour as the kids loved to play and we only saw one family. I think everyone follows the normal path so definitely worth going this way
Gorgeous views & easy to pull in & out of. Feels like you're parked up on the top of the world.
