Nice place. Friendly staff.
A really nice, traditional, homely caf. It's more of a coffee and bacon sarnie establishment, but that's fine by me! Be aware that you go upstairs to order, which foxed me when I first peered in the window. There is a bell that you can ring if climbing stairs isn't possible. For cyclists, it would give that little bit of extra security if there were some ring, or similar, set into the wall that you can see in front of the downstairs window: it'd just give us something solid to lock our bikes to which, in an urban setting, can just be that little bit more reassuring!
Me and my friend went in and I said hello and she never looked up or smile nothing so we walked out found her to be rude and not very welcoming!
Gorgeous little cafe, full of delicious home cooked food and proper breakfasts the staff are lovely and the atmosphere is great and best of all there more than happy for me to take my dog with me :)
Delicious meat n potato pie and a mug of coffee for 3.50. What's not to like ...!Get an extractor fan tho' ... ;--)
